Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu, OON

Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu is an experienced Security Professional with specialization in strategy, threat assessment, risk analysis, integrated security systems, procurement, and training. He has worked with different national and international security organizations and coordinated transnational security partnerships by building an extensive network of trusted global partners in formal and informal circles, within an ecosystem that promotes global peace and security initiatives.

Saleh Ahmadu is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bergmans Security Consultants and Supplies Limited. Saleh has more than two decades of experience as a security consultant and systems acquisition specialist. He has done this in addition to his other business interests where he further implements his entrepreneurial capacities. His entrepreneurship interests include board positions in other organisations such as The Business People (TBP) Limited, an Organisation Effectiveness outfit; Ashawa Consult Nigeria Limited, an environmental services outfit and; Furnished Electronics Nigeria Limited, an electronics, furniture and fittings company.

He is also the Chairman of Trade Modernisation project Limited, a $5 billion company implementing the Nigeria Customs Service Modernisation Project under a PPP arrangement. He is an innovative and action-oriented leader with over three decades’ experience at executive management and Board level, contributing job creation across Aviation, National Security, Cybersecurity and Intelligence sectors.

Alhaji Saleh is an exceptional philanthropist with great passion for involvement in life-impacting projects, which have provided economic empowerment for many rural communities, created employment opportunities and alleviated poverty. His support for religious groups has contributed to ethno-religious peace, tolerance, love and respect.
His contributions to national development have earned him several awards and titles. He received in the national honour of Officer of The Order of The Niger (OON) in 2022 and holds the title of Madaki Lokoja and Makama Budon.

He is an avid reader, a technology enthusiast, policy wonk, shrewd investor and champion of equity, justice and peace. He enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
