Ekong Etim
Ekong Etim is an Attorney with diverse practice experience garnered from private legal practice and public sector work. His core practice areas include Corporate and Investment Laws, Infrastructure Concession, Privatisation, and Public-Private Partnerships. He has advised various governments, public enterprise managers and investors on diverse legal issues involving transaction structure, Legal and Regulatory framework, due diligence, Joint Ventures, and Mergers and Acquisitions.He has extensive sector reform and privatisation experience, having previously acted as a Transaction Adviser to the Bureau of Public Enterprises under the World Bank/USAID Privatisation Assistance Program; where he was responsible for the implementation of sector reform programs and advised on privatisation in Telecommunications, Energy, Transportation, including providing high-level support to key sector leaders. Ekong obtained a B.Sc. in Sociology/Anthropology from the University of Nigeria (1985) and LLB from the University of Calabar (1989). He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.
